Three more children, Mutuku, Keli, and Kioko, were identified as being candidates for support and ultimately orphans who could be possible residents in a children’s home. As with the first four children all are orphaned and living with elderly relatives. Now seven children and their extended families began receiving aid – every two weeks a package of food items worth $60.00 per month per child.
Fourteen additional homes were visited and other children at risk were investigated. Aid was offered and included blankets, mattresses, food, clothing, school uniforms, medicine, a micro-grant and shoes. This aid totalled $550.00
